Sighnaghi, Georgia is a tiny town in Georgia’s easternmost region of Kakheti. It is also home Bodbe Convent and St George’s Church from the 17th century.

Hi! I’m Carrie. I’m a Canadian living in Taiwan with Ankylosing Spondylitis, Fibromyalgia, and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (MECFS), among other health issues.

When I first started MSW in 2007, I wrote a lot about living abroad and my travels in Asia. This site has never veered from its main mission statement which is to travel and learn about Asia with me.

I’ve been writing about chronic illness since 2009. MSW provides information for other chronically ill patients, patient support, and I engage in patient advocacy across many platforms.
