2017 Banqiao Christmas Light Show – New Taipei City

I started writing about the Banqiao Christmas light show in 2012, now known as Christmasland. This is our fifth year attending and the second year we were invited on behalf of the New Taipei City Government.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Carrie. I’m a Canadian living in Taiwan with Ankylosing Spondylitis, Fibromyalgia, and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (MECFS), among other health issues.

When I first started MSW in 2007, I wrote a lot about living abroad and my travels in Asia. This site has never veered from its main mission statement which is to travel and learn about Asia with me.

I’ve been writing about chronic illness since 2009. MSW provides information for other chronically ill patients, patient support, and I engage in patient advocacy across many platforms.
