First of all, the fact that I got so much blogging in this year is wonderful beyond words. When I first started blogging in 2007, I used to blog every day! Showcasing my top lucky seven posts from My Several Worlds in 2020 is a fun way to end the year.
After MSW became a successful travel blog, I moved into travel writing and publishing and didn’t have as much time for this site. Plus I wasn’t sure how to transition My Several Worlds from a travel blog to a health blog.
I also had an additional problem for many years. My personal writing went downhill because I was spending too much time in publishing.
When you work in publishing and you’re editing for others while producing regular content for four magazines and a dozen books each year, it affects your personal writing. It really does. I know, because I’ve done it!
After I left that job, I took a long break from writing before getting back into publishing as a freelancer.
As I’ve become more housebound over the past five years, I’ve been able to devote more time to content here on My Several Worlds. That hard work has paid off! I’m also so happy to be recognized by Heathline and WEGO Health for my advocacy work in 2020.
This is probably the worst year all of us have faced together, but there is always a silver lining. In my case, it was reaching new heights with health advocacy and I have some very exciting news and a huge collaboration coming up in 2021. Be sure to reach out if you’d like to connect and work with me. I’d love to hear from you!
Today’s post showcases seven posts from 2020 that I’m most proud of on My Several Worlds.
My first time doing this was a challenge for travel bloggers back in 2010. Back then, each blogger posted their seven favorite articles. (No stats included.) This is all about you. I thought I’d resurrect this idea for 2020 – a decade later to showcase what I’m most happy with this year. We must celebrate the little things, right? I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to jump on board if you’d like to publish a similar post. The content is 100% original, but the post idea is not!
Here are my top seven posts from My Several Worlds in 2020:
1) MY MOST PERSONAL POST
2) MY MOST POPULAR POST
3) MY MOST IMPORTANT POST ABOUT TAIWAN
4) MY MOST HELPFUL POST
5) A POST WHOSE SUCCESS SURPRISED ME
6) A POST I FEEL DIDN’T GET THE ATTENTION IT DESERVED
7) THE POST I AM MOST PROUD OF
Don’t forget to pin it! Thanks for being with me on this journey of mine. Your support means the world to me and to others like me.
Wishing you all the best for 2021, from my home to yours.
