Do you want to win one million NT dollars in cash?
Join TLC’s Fun Taiwan Challenge and you’ll get the chance to discover Taiwan with Janet Hsieh and compete in one of Taiwan’s most unusual contests to date! The reality television game show will be broadcasted on TLG Video, featuring contestants that must travel throughout Taiwan to complete various challenges. In each episode, one or more contestants will be eliminated until the final remaining contestant reigns supreme!
Well, I hate to burst your bubble, because it’s too late to join in the fun, but you can help by making someone else’s dream come true. (I know, I’m awful, aren’t I?)
My Several Worlds is backing Terry Chung, an adventurous, outgoing, and fun-loving individual with dreams of being Taiwan’s next big TV persona . I met Terry at one of John’s games, and he just happened to be filming his Fun Taiwan video during one of the games, so make sure you check out my guest appearance on Terry’s video and see if you can hear which adjective I use to describe Terry.
Here’s a note from Terry on why you should vote for Terry Chung in TLC’s Fun Taiwan Challenge.
Hi My Several Worlds Viewers!
My name is Terry Chung, a.k.a. Teriyaki or T.C. (as some of my basketball friends would call me). My life has taken me to quite a few places since childhood. I was born in Taiwan, grew up in Australia and New Zealand, studied in an American high school, and have worked in Japan for two years. Life has been good to me,I guess, but it isn’t what I have dreamed of since I was a little boy.
Ever since I was young, I knew I have the urge to shine in front of people and show off what I have to offer (Simply put, during my middle school’s enrolment interview, I told the head master that my future dream is to become a “movie star”). Call me A.D.D., but being goofy, hyperactive and putting smiles on faces is simply what I love doing.
This year, Travel Living Channel gave me the opportunity to join the TLC Fun Taiwan Challenge. This time will be my second time applying for a role on the TLC Fun Taiwan program. Having just missed the deadline in 2009 while I was moving out of Japan for the co-host opportunity with the show’s hostess, Janet, I knew I couldn’t miss out on this season’s opportunity.
This year, I was lucky enough to get 32 of my awesome friends to each say something to describe who I am in one word for my audition video. Thank you Carrie Kellenberger and all my ridiculously good looking friends who helped.
You guys put me a step closer to proving to my old head master that I have what it takes!
