Post Author: Carrie Kellenberger

I'm a chronically ill Canadian who has been living in Asia since 2003. I moved from China to Taiwan in 2006. I'm an experienced businesswoman and have worked in many leadership positions. My husband and I have owned our own business in Taiwan since 2012. In addition to my own work, I've been writing professionally about Asia, travel and health advocacy since 2007, providing regular content to several publishing companies and travel publications in Asia and North America. I started writing about my health journey in 2009 after being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. In 2014, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS, which came with other massive health issues. These diagnoses were the start of my journey as a health advocate and patient leader. Since then, My Several Worlds has been recognized worldwide as a top site for chronic illness by WEGO Health and Healthline. Excellent. Did you do much post-processing on it?

Thanks Tobie. I didn\\'t do too much with it. I added a bit of contrast by making the figures a bit darker and the electronics more vibrant. That sky is all Taiwan.

I love this place in Taipei great for people watching and hot spot for shopping. My only regret, I wasn't able to explore the whole Ximending area.

I agree. I\\'ve been here for three years and I\\'m still finding little hidden gems in Ximending.

Really nice, I like that little peek of blue at the top.

Thanks, Kim. Ximending is one of the best hang-outs in Taipei – in my opinion at least!

That’s impressive. I like those colured and illuminated advertisement. It’s a usual thing in big cities but not yet in my country. I mean not in such quantity.

Thanks K. People often compare this district to Shibuya in Japan. Check it out. If you’ve seen Tokyo Drift, you’ll know what I mean. 🙂

    🙂
It took me a lot of time to understand what you were talking about. I only watched the first picture from the article about Shibuya. I couldn’t understand why did you mention of Tokyo drift. When I saw the second picture I couldn’t stop laughing. :)) It’s incredible…

      K,
Now imagine John and our friend, Chris, driving through Shibuya at midnight. John said it was wild. Wish the boys had thought to include me!
