The Grand Green was officially revealed to the public in August and is Taipei’s first urban regeneration station (URS). The project is given a unique identification number: URS 27.

These crimson-eyed beauties are a common sight in low-lying areas of Taiwan. I’ve seen Black-Crowned Night Herons all over the city, but never one this close.

Yoyogi Park on Sunday offers free entertainment and loads of visual appeal. This beautiful park is a gathering place for live performances, artists, drumming circles, flower children and the occasional rave.

Spend a day walking around Harajuku and you’ll get more than you ever need for a gaggle of sights. Harajuku is well-known for its boutiques and bistros and famous for its Harajuku Kids and Cos-play-zoku aka The Costume Play Gang. A day spent here is a day in voyeur’s paradise.
