The Mira Department Store at Core Pacific City Mall (京華城)(also known as The Living Mall) in Taipei hosted the 5th annual Taipei Toy Festival early last month. A series of cultural icons from Yang Liu. These icons were designed to reflect the differences throughout Western and Eastern cultures. Yang Liu was born in Beijing, China and later moved to Germany to further her education. Her work was recently showcased at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Multi-hued starfish. No journey to Kenting is complete without making a stop at the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium (NMMBA) at 2 Houwan Road, Checheng, Pingtung in Taiwan.
