The Lunar New Year is the most important festival in the Chinese Lunar Calendar, luring thousands of friends and families to participate in games and watch Lion and Dragon dances, martial arts demonstrations and other fun events. We witnessed no less than three lion dances in various areas throughout the Lunar New Year in Kota Kinabalu.

A flash flood in Kota Kinabalu during rainy season in Borneo leaves motorists stranded on the road. Not us, though. My husband decides to drive through it!
