Originally from Ottawa, Canada, Carrie has kept a home base with her husband in Asia since 2003. A nomad at heart, Carrie’s deep love for travel, photography and culture has led her on frequent travels over the past eight years. She has traveled throughout Asia, finding work as a writer, editor, educator photographer, and even night club singer.

Yi grew up in Australia and currently lives in Taiwan where she works as a full-time freelance writer and editor. In addition to her travel features here on My Several Worlds, Yi juggles a number of projects that include working at a creative agency, editing for a publisher and freelance blogging for MNUI travel insurance. Ava Apollo grew up in Southern California where she had exposure to a wide variety of languages and cultures. After her University years, Ava spent a year in Taipei where her love of travel, Chinese language, and writing were intensified. Stephanie spent most of her life in a small town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After traveling through Europe during University, she fell in love with the excitement of travel, and with the challenge of living in a new country. An interest in Chinese culture and language led Stephanie to her current home in Taipei, Taiwan, which she uses as a base for travels throughout Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
