Good stuff. I can’t wait to get to Taiwan to check it out. I was a bit bummed when I had to cancel my trip earlier this year. Not sure I could stomach the tofu, but I’ll be on the lookout for it when I go.

Part of the fun of going to a new country is trying things or doing things that you’ve never done before. I tried stinky tofu for the first time in China. A friend of mine bought it for me as a snack and she was so excited for me to try it, I just couldn’t say no. I plugged my nose and ate it and I was pleasantly surprised at both the taste and texture. I’m a fan for sure. If you’re going to try it, I recommend trying the grilled version over the deep-fried version. The deep-fried version comes with a topping that tastes a bit like relish. I don’t really like the taste as much. The grilled version is served with a spicy sauce that is swiped on after they take it off the grill. It makes all the difference.

The lights on the building look amazing. Must cost a fortune to power those.

Those are the fireworks they display on New Year’s Eve. It’s a pretty spectacular show! Get yourself out there when you get a chance!
