January Link Love: My Favorite Picks of the Month

This month was a busy one. I spent the first two weeks of 2010 knocking off several freelance writing projects. I celebrated my birthday, hosted Taipei’s first Tweetup, and barely had any time to blog. It was a great start to a new year. Here are a few links to my web contributions this month and some links to a few special bloggers out there I’d like to commend for their hard work and dedication to their craft.

In Travel News…

Ahhhh shucks Carrie. Thanks for the shout-out. I’m really excited to get back to Asia. In fact, I think my hubby and I are going to make a month out of it. Perhaps we’ll cross paths …?

Congrats on such a successful month yourself. Loved the interview with you in the photog mag.

      Erica,

One of the reasons why I started this series is because I usually catch up on my favorite blogs via RSS or on my Blackberry. I don’t often have the time to leave comments, and this is one way of letting people know that I am still with them.

I don’t know if you’re a fan of Traveling Greener. I’m a huge fan, so I was really excited when Sonya let me know about her newest site. If Traveling Greener is anything to go by, I imagine it will be a huge success.

Thanks so much for including me in your January link love! That’s so kind of you, Carrie.

I especially appreciate the mention of LiveTravelMountains.com, our newest travel blog. For the last 10+ years, I’ve lived in mountains all over the world so it’s a project close to my heart.

    Wishing you continued success,
    Sonya

      Hi Liz,

I feel badly that I haven’t had time to put a post together for you, and I’m glad that I can contribute to Pocket Cultures with my photography!
