This class did a rendition of ‘I Will Follow Him’. They emulated the choral routine from the movie, Sister Act.
Christmas in Taiwan normally isn’t a big affair. John and I always try to make the best of the holiday season, but it’s the little unexpected moments that always take me by surprise and leave me feeling content. One of these moments came along earlier this week, when I paid a visit to Nan Kan Senior High School to judge their Christmas singing contest. This was my second visit to their school in the past three months and each time I’ve gone, I’ve had a great time. Each class performed as a choral group and they really got into the Christmas spirit with their song choices, choreography, and costumes. I especially liked the black garbage bag reindeer, and I was very surprised to see Lady Gaga make an appearance!
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff and students of Nan Kan Senior High School. You brought some much-needed Christmas cheer to my heart!

Very interesting Carrie. My Christmas was, well, less than stellar. Just me and my swine flu in my apartment on Christmas. Not exactly good company, if you know what I mean. I’m glad at least one of us had a good time!
