Announcing the 2009 Taiwan blog awards
Taiwanderful, a Taiwan travel and culture guide, announced the 2009 Taiwan Best Blog Awards today. The awards are now in their second year and seek to highlight the best English-language blogs in Taiwan. Bloggers can register for the awards during November with voting from 1-20 December. There is an overall award for the best blog and awards for eight different categories.
This year a new feature has been added to the awards. As well as popular online voting, there will also be peer-judged awards. These will be judged by a team of leading Taiwan bloggers.
“I hope the awards can bring more attention to the many great blogs about Taiwan. These blogs provide a unique window on Taiwan life,” said David Reid one of the coordinators of the awards.
Taiwanderful is a community website managed by David Reid and Gilad Feldman. David is the author of the popular Taiwan blog, David on Formosa. Gilad, based in Hong Kong, blogs about Asia at Fili’s World.
