Thanks for your well-wishes. My only regret is that our flights didn’t work out and we weren’t able to catch up with you for a beer in blustery MSP! Next time for sure. I’m in and out of there often when there isn’t a wedding to plan, as John is from Iowa.

Thanks! There’s another two articles to come. I haven’t featured any of the photos we took on the beach, and I really need to get around to writing about what took place that day and who everyone is. I don’t know how you find the time to put together such an amazing site. It’s all I can do to write once or twice a week!

I’m glad you waited, too. The bouquet was a last minute choice and it worked out beautifully. I was sad to leave it in Mexico. I still can’t believe how well everything went together considering neither one of us did a trial run. Thanks for all your support and encouragement over the last year, Kim!

Hi Dirk,
I wish I could help you. We used the photographer from our resort and weren't given a choice. I gave him a list of shots I wanted before the wedding and this is what he came up with. If you're getting married at a resort, you should contact your wedding coordinator to find out if you can look at sample portfolios from the photographers they have on staff. Looks like all the important parts of your day were covered. The colors of your bridesmaid dresses were perfect for the resort. Did they have fans instead of flowers?! Great idea. Thanks for posting all your pics.
Congrats to the beautiful and newly married couple. The photographer made the couple and place look more beautiful. This is a very good quality of a photographers and he has done it very well.
