I have always wanted to see the Amazon
I want to do a lot of those too. I’ve always wanted to do the mig thing. I’ve had this site bookmarked for 10 years. http://www.incredible-adventures.com/migs/ Unfortunately it is a LOT of money.
At the end of the year I always re-evaluate my goals as well. I was able to cross off my number one this year (visit Japan!) which feels great. I’m so glad I stopped planning and actually went ahead and did it. I aim to achieve at least one more goal next year.
Most of my “do before I die” things would actually be travel related too (“visit before you die” I guess). My list on 43things needs severe cleanup…
P.S. You took belly dance classes, right? Are there any other ones (dance) you have taken? As a kid I took several dance classes – mostly jazz dance and hiphop – and am thinking about maybe starting again.
Great idea to list your dreams. Inspiring. Like Mike, I want to do a lot of the things you listed as well. Especially sky diving and Mount Everest base camp.
I wish you all the best with realizing your dreams in 2009!
Cool list. I’ve swum (and surfed and scuba dived) with manta rays, been skydiving, hot air balloon, 2 months in India (15 actually) and almost been to Everest base camp (flew over it from Lhasa-Kathmandu), but haven’t done the rest.
Hey Michelle,
Me, too. What an amazing trip that would be!
Mike,
Sweet site! Thanks for commenting!
Hey Kim,
When did you go to Japan? You mentioned it earlier this year, but I never heard any more about it. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Whenever people ask me about my favorite countries to travel through, Japan is always at the top of my list. I’d love to go back.
I’m still taking belly dancing classes. When I was young, I took ballet classes, but I can barely remember them. I love the feeling of grace and confidence you get from dance classes. I say, “Go for it!”
Thanks Erica! And best wishes for you this coming year. I’m sure you’re well on your way to completing your dreams.
Craig,
Whew! I’m traveling with the wrong guy! Psst…don’t tell John!
Ohhhhhhhhh. I see. mm-hm.
oh no no no no NO! that’s QUITE alright.
Apparently nothing is sacred.. but at least now I know.
25 things to do INDEED.
lol
Andrew,
This is not titled, 25 Things I Want to Do With My Bestie — that is definitely sacred. When you coming over to hammer away at that list anyways? Waiting patiently for my dearest sweet muffin-head!
I love these lists. Been keeping one for awhile…we have some similar items. If I accomplish one it leads to adding two more
