Writing Style: A Fable

The Peaceful Ocean has many fish.  They are all very simple and keen.  They are happy everyday because the Peaceful Ocean has had no wars since all the sharks moved out.

One day, an octopus comes to the ocean.  He is evil and talkative.  He always says bad things about everyone else.  He tells Mimi that Jack is a thief, and to be careful because he’ll steal your luxurious bag!  He says, “Don’t listen to Tooky, because he lies to everyone!”

Finally, the simple fish start to think that the octopus is telling the truth.  They start to argue and fight with each other.  The Peaceful Ocean becomes the Scary Ocean after a month!

One early morning, a new resident arrives in the Scary Ocean.  She is an intelligent, cute, kind, friendly little fish.  She quickly tells every fish that the octopus is evil.  He just wants to break the peace of Peaceful Ocean. “So, please, don’t listen to the octopus.  We have to trust each other,” she says. After listening to her, the fish finally know the importance of trusting each other.

At last, the fish decide to tell the octopus to leave the Peaceful Ocean.  The octopus has no house to live in and dies in the sea.  The Peaceful Ocean will be peaceful and happy forever!

The moral of this story is, “Don’t be a gossip!”
