Ah, I was thinking about opening dances last week while driving to work – that’s because “Into my arms” from Nick Cave was on, I love that song, might be my pick. But then again the opening dance is really personal to the couple, isn’t it? If I’d married my first boyfriend it would have been the song we first kissed on, Foo Fighters’ Everlong, not very danceable :) My male best friend once mentioned Air’s “Playground Love” for his highschool sweetheart. And with my last ex it would have been “The Killing Moon” by Echo and the Bunnymen.
-> you see I gave it a lot of thought, it’s a long drive to work :)

I’d pick one that meant a lot to the both of you. Apart from that, I love the old classics (Sinatra, Presley, etc).

It’s so hard to decide. I’ve heard many songs from this list. If I were you I would choose Frank Sinatra. Old classics have plenty of charm.
