I was tagged by Stevo, who writes Inane Ramblings from a life in China.
My life is pretty much an open book. I had a hard time thinking of seven random things you don’t know about me. So here it goes:
1. If I could do anything else in the world, I’d be a marine biologist.
2. I like stinky tofu a lot. (Stinky tofu is a popular SE Asian malodorous snack consisting of fermented tofu.)
3. I designed jewelery for ten years in Ontario, Canada before moving to Asia.
4. My uber-organized attention to detail often leads me to engaging in conversations with myself. Thankfully it doesn’t happen too often in public.
5. I never get stressed about getting lost because I’m perpetually lost. I get lost even with clear directions and a navigation system.
6. When I’m sad, I listen to Nina Simone at top volume. When I’m super pissed, I throw some L7 on and thrash. I love working out and running to electronica. Led Zeppelin puts me in the mood for long, hard walks on busy streets.
7. I’ve eaten a lot of really gross things like: donkey dumplings, beef penis, cow tongue, silkworms, snake, turtle soup, pig tendon, chicken heart, pig knuckles, raw octopus and lobster, baby quail embryo, deer embryo….. Some of it I ate knowingly. Most of it was unavoidable. I draw the line at bugs.

I have never known a foreigner that eats stinky tofu. You are braver than I. The smell of it literally kills me.
L7 rocks.
Thanks for participating.
No problem. This has a chain letter kind of feel to it, but I have to admit, it’s a good way to get to know people and find out a few interesting facts that might not otherwise divulge in a regular blog posting.
