I swore when I left that I wouldn't go back. It was a really hard country to travel through from a psychological point of view. Cambodia had me completely perplexed and downright angry at times. And at other times, I felt completely and utterly beguiled. Cambodia wears more faces than any other country I've been to. It was a constant assault on my senses. I left thinking there was no way I'd ever go back. Here I am, months after my journey and I keep looking back and thinking, Whoa! It was awesome. You know, it’s the strangest thing. Isn't that amazing? Trips like this is what interest me more than some tourist castles, since they show you the pulse of the region :) It opens our eyes to how things really are for them.
