USA TODAY : Photo released by Xinhua News Agency at Jinan Paomaling Wild Animal World in Shenyang, China.
I saw this picture in a Chinese newspaper today and I couldn’t resist a Google search for more information.
In Shenyang, China, at the Jinan Paomaling Wild Animal World, an ordinary farm dog is used to nurse four baby tiger cubs which were abandoned by their mother at birth. The dog’s name is “Huani” and she is no stranger to the world of mothering tigers. She’s been used by the zoo to nurse baby cubs before.
Dog urine is smeared on the baby cubs to make the surrogate mother believe she is nursing her own pups, but it wasn’t needed with Huani. She doesn’t mind nursing these cute furballs.

I’ll tell you what’s next!! Cats nursing baby chickens!!!

OMG! Those pictures are even better than these pictures. That cat doesn’t look too happy in the last photo though. How does this stuff happen?
