"Since we already knew that all Taiwanese mattresses are rock hard and not up to Western standards."

it's not that taiwanese mattresses aren't up to western standards as you say. it's that taiwanese and asians in general prefer to sleep on rock hard mattresses because they believe it's better for your back and thus posture, which is true. they sell rock hard mattresses at chinese/taiwanese owned furniture stores here in los angeles too.

Me too. We really wanted to go back last Monday, but it was raining. Taiwan is an incredible country to travel in. I wish more people would come here to experience the beauty of it for themselves.

I have no idea how they got down there either. We were standing on a cliff top looking down and spotted them through the zoom on my camera. We saw fishermen all along the coastline in hard to reach places such as this one. It boggles my mind.

Are you really sure that there are fishermen in the first photo? I really do not want to know how they get down there.
