I have a few other articles to post on our travels in Taiwan. Next month our traveling will take us to Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. My Several Worlds will be changing direction slightly to accomodate for these trips. The ticket prices have been raised. Our travel guide indicated the prices would be around $80 and they've doubled, perhaps because of the new renovations. And yes, we saw the Sung Calligraphy exhibit and the Sung Dynasty Rare Books collection. Amazing and huge! Both are part of the Grand View exhibition. You'd better hurry though. Since this was my first trip to the museum, I have nothing to compare it with. I thought it was well laid out and organized. We were able to navigate quite a bit of it in a few hours. I agree that it's not on-par with other world-famous museums, but I still found it aestheically pleasing. All in all, we had an enjoyable afternoon there. Good question.
