When I’m not out exploring myself, I love reading about bloggers in Taiwan who are out there living life and enjoying everything that Taiwan has to offer. Plus, it gives me some great ideas for how I can spend my free time when I don’t have anything planned. Life isn’t always about work and study!
Here are the top five blogs that got my motor revving for this weekend.
1. David on Formosa has written some amazing articles over the past month about places to visit in Taipei. This is one of my favorite blogs here in Taiwan. David writes about a wide range of topics. He finds time to post about language studies, teaching, sightseeing, politics, art, books and just about everything else that’s going on in Taiwan. I don’t know when he has the time to do it all because this man seems like he’s always on the go. Recently, he’s been to:
The 228 Museum in Taipei City.
The Cosplay and Manga Exhibition at the Sports Center of NTU.
Tobie Openshaw’s Betelnut Beauty Exhibition, which is running until the 8th of March. This is a photography exhibit of Taiwan’s famous betel nut girls.
2. The Daily Bubble Tea’s Todd Alperovitz has also had a busy month as well. His photo essays and articles took his readers to:
228 Memorial Park and Surrounding Area
Kaohsiung
Taipei Game Show 2007
Biking in Taichung County
3. A View From Taiwan’s Michael Turton and his friend, The Bushman had some weekend fun geocaching in Taichung.
4. A Day in the Life of… Jennifer Turek showcases some amazing photos about her journey to Yehliu.

Wow Carrie,
Thanks for including me on this distinguished list. Your blog is first class and I feel grateful to be included.
My pleasure Jo. Your photo essay on the Red General is great and makes me want to go. Your photographs are so beautiful!
The whole point of these monthly posts is to feature the Taiwan bloggers that make my feet start itching to explore.
Wow, thanks, I always get excited when I see my page listed next to the heavyweights of the Taiwan Blogsphere. I didn’t realize how active of a month I had until now (and I wasn’t even in Taiwan for a third of it)!
I hope this becomes a monthly feature on your site! Keep up the good work!

Where do you live, Globetrotter? Which city?
Michael
Hi Todd. The pleasure was mine. I especially liked an older post of yours on the Lin Family Mansion and Garden in Banciao. That post was what first drew my eye to your blog. I still can’t believe you managed to pack all this into a month before returning to North American for a visit!
There’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll continue to see great things from you upon your return. And, yes, this will be a monthly feature here on My Several Worlds.

Hi Michael,
Right now, I live just outside of Banciao in Shu-lin City.
