Hello World – Welcome To My Several Worlds

Hello World. Hello, indeed!

Many years ago, my world changed dramatically on a cold, clear day in March 2003, as I was flying to northern China to become an English teacher and an army of backpackers and travelers that lust for adventure and culture.

Like so many others before, I was swayed by exotic news reports and the enthusiasm of my friends who had been to Asia. They all seemed so sophisticated, worldly and knowledgeable. I wanted to experience it for myself. I wanted autonomy and independence in its truest form. I wanted adventure and excitement. I wanted to explore the unknown as I expanded my horizons to truly make the world my global village.

I’ve been on that road since that fateful day and this is my story – the ups, the downs, the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful and the simply outrageous. I’ve found love, friendship and adventure to last me to the end of my days.

So, this is for the family and friends that were so hard to leave behind and for the friends I’ve met on the road; it’s for those of you who will enter my life in the near future and for those of you who are just plain curious.

Welcome to My Several Worlds.
